Case Study: GM in Motion

EVENT MARKETING
Client: General Motors of Canada and all its divisions

The Challenge:
To present General Motors and all of its divisions at the annual Auto Shows across Canada. To provide consumers and GMCL dealers with the most relevant product display showcase in the context of each brands’ inherent equity, personality and Reason for Being.

The JGK Solution:
After significant focus group research and consultation, we designed a customer focused, state of the art interactive display that showcased General Motors and all of it’s divisions. 

The display environment informed, entertained and persuaded consumers to consider General Motors when purchasing their next vehicle. We designed and implemented an environment that thoroughly reflected each brands communication strategy. We presented to consumers an image of seamless integration with all other GMCL marketing communications. 

We integrated the corporate advertising campaign along with tactical print advertising in all of the multi media areas. We leveraged and showcased existing sport & celebrity sponsorship opportunities with daily guest appearances. We developed a lead management system that allowed us to data capture and measure for Return on Marketing Investment. We executed strategies that enhanced our Relationship Marketing Initiatives. We lead the industry with our talented and experienced Customer Service Representatives. 

We celebrated the Canadian Music industry by showcasing Canadian talent at all of our major VIP events across the country. We also developed all of the Media Relations events and activities in a fun, entertaining, professional and informative manner that carried into our main stage product performances.

The Pay-off:
We achieved “Best in Class” results for General Motors of Canada.
