Experiential Gift Giving

In keeping with the season, JGK would like to launch its first holiday blog post. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than to incorporate a little experiential gift giving into your event calendar. Whether it be—participant swag for the event you’re working on, a small token of thanks for your office staff, or a thoughtful memento to clients—this post includes some recipes to help create some holiday magic.

If you’re feeling particularly jolly, you may find yourself in the kitchen with your apron on. But not to worry—if the thought of hitting the kitchen causes your stress level to rise…there’s another option. These recipes would be fantastic, festively formatted and included in your seasonal communications. Whichever avenue you decide, you can’t go wrong when you incorporate a personal touch.

Two of my favourite recipes are from Canada’s own Bonnie Stern. It doesn’t get much better than Stern’s White Chocolate Peppermint Bark with Pistachios which may be found at the following link:

or her delicious Homemade Carmel Popcorn with Pecans.

For cookie lovers, I thought it would be best to keep all the options open; check out Chatelaine’s Holiday Cookie Selection: http://www.chatelaine.com/holiday-cookie-recipes/. There are over 100 cookie recipes; ranging from the traditional shortbreads to gluten free options. I’m sure you’ll find something to your liking. I’ll be sampling the Sugar Crackle Gingerbread cookies shorty!

While the cookies bake, JGK would like to wish all a very Happy and Healthy Holiday Season and New Year!
