Ford and Father’s Day
Mother’s Day typically consists of flowers, a thoughtful present and showering your Mother with attention. This formula pretty much equals a success day and one happy Mom. And, then… Father’s Day rolls around.
I don’t know what it is about gift giving and Father’s Day but every year, it’s a battle to try and come up with the ‘perfect’ gift. When we were younger, it was the painted rock paper weight which, I will say back in the day, I’m sure we were all very proud of. We’ve all given countless ties, and Canadian Tire gift certificates. Yet, I don’t feel—and I’m sure many can relate—they’ve truly mastered the art of Father’s Day gift giving.
Thankfully, for some, Ford of Canada came to the rescue this year. Ford invited the media and, the special Father’s in their life to Toronto Motorsports Park, Canada’s Premier Race Facility to experience Father’s Day and Ford at its best. Now, I don’t need to tell you it doesn’t get any better than…tearing down a 3 kilometre world-class race track at 160 km/hr and ripping around corners in a 2017 Ford Mustang GT Premium Fastback or Ford Focus RS.

A fun drive at Cayuga and learning some driving techniques—sounds like a pretty great Father’s Day gift or shall I say, experience. Father’s Day and Ford equals a successful day and one happy Dad.
