High Flying Adventure with Lincoln in the Wilds of B.C.!

It was off to the wilds of B.C. from November 4 to 9thas JGK Integrated Solutions managed logistics for the 2019 launch of the Lincoln Nautilus.

The event was organized in two waves and included some of Canada’s top automotive and consumer media. The second wave featured ten social media A-Listers whose content generates thousands of followers (and up) on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

Always eager to ensure the experience is seamless and memorable, JGK arranged a variety of cool adventures that included both land and air.

The journey began in Vancouver where participants joined up with Alkan Air to hop a private plane to Nanaimo. Lincoln vehicles that included the ContinentalNavigatorMKCand Nautilus were available for participants to get an authentic road experience along the rugged shores of Vancouver Island.

Lunch was at the Lighthouse Bistro in Nanaimo where everyone dined on locally sourced dishes. But hey – what’s a little lunch without dessert? Off to Coombs Country Candy for Vancouver Island’s best kept sweetest secret.

Once everyone was finished with all that food and sugar, they were chauffeured to the next stop – the beautiful Wickaninnish Inn on the rugged coast of Tofino. Known for its untamed natural beauty, the Inn dazzled participants with its stunning views, luxurious rooms, amazing food and knowledge of great Scotch!

Being on the rugged coastline of B.C. meant photo ops were plentiful. Point of interest locations included the Rhino Coffee House, Grice Bay and Radar Hill at Pacific Rim Provincial Park.

Throughout the event, participants were also able to test drive cars under extreme weather and road conditions and from all accounts the vehicles out performed all expectations.

For those who wanted to take their experience to the next level, surf lessons were offered from Canada’s favourite surf school – Surf Sister. What better way to interact with nature’s beauty and burn some calories along the way!

Those who were searching for a less active experience (unless you were a surfer and needed to unwind!) were treated to massage sessions at Ancient Cedars and Sacred Stone Spas.

No matter how everyone chose to participate in the event, one thing was clear. The design and performance of the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus was a formidable match for B.C.’s stunning and rugged coastline.
